Red Rocks Country Club Wedding

Red Rocks Country Club Wedding guests dancing with the bride in a circle

Carmela and Hunter’s Red Rocks Country Club Wedding took place on a typical Colorado summer day. Starting in the golf club locker rooms, the couple emerged upstairs into the hot summer sun and midday light for their first look. We then set off around the golf course for some portraits as more and more clouds rolled in. Then in true Colorado style, as we did family photos before the ceremony the rain started, and everything got moved under cover. Carmela and Hunter were unfazed. They were ready to be married and they were going to enjoy their day whatever the weather.

A Red Rocks Country Club Wedding is in a beautiful location southwest of Denver near the foothills. It is in a large open golf course with views over a reservoir. The wedding coordinator will drive you around to a few special portrait locations that feature iconic Red Rock formations that the front range is known for. The indoor ballroom space can hold up to 144 guests with the outdoor pavilion being able to hold 150. The reception can be held under the pavilion but in case of inclement weather, the ballroom is just a few steps away.

Something I appreciate about Red Rocks Country Club weddings is that you can use the golf course for portraits later in the day once the course has closed. So I was able to sneak Carmela and Hunter outside for a few minutes in the evening and we were lucky to be joined by a deer who briefly posed in the background of the photos.
