Colorado Backyard Wedding
Cassidy and Chris put together this beautiful backyard wedding in Loveland Colorado. Going the Colorado backyard wedding route for your wedding can be a tricky one once you realize how much goes into a wedding but they chose vendors carefully and pulled in favors from skilled friends where they could. The result was wonderful. But there is a secret to a stress-free Colorado backyard wedding… Hiring a day of coordinator! Even if you have an organized relative who wants to help, I promise you that hiring a professional will be so much better. The coordinator at this wedding (and one of my favorite planners/coordinators to work with) was Amber, from Rita Rose Event Design.
Vendors: Planner/Coordinator - Rita Rose Event Design | Entertainment - Dancin Shoes DJ | Rentals - RC Rentals | Makeup - The Bridal Goddess | Dress Shop - Change of a Dress Alterations
The whole wedding was held at Cassidy’s Mom’s best friend’s house which is located in a beautiful spot in Loveland with panoramic views. The large lawn was perfect for their ceremony with space left over for a big tent for the reception. One of Chris’ groomsmen was a chef and he alongside his family cooked for all of the guests. Chris’ Mom made all the amazing desserts which I couldn’t help but sample! These things still cost time, money, and some big favors but in the end, the event was unique and very personal to them and the couple were extremely grateful to those who helped them on their special day.
One of my favorite moments of the day was the flower man’s performance as he made his way down the aisle. This is a popular wedding trend just now and I love to see people really embrace it and have fun!
Notice the groomsman in the blue apron? Yeah, that’s the chef. Since his apron matched the suits so well they decided he should just skip the jacaket and wear the apron. If you are going to have a Colorado backyard wedding you may as well make it your own.
